We use the genre of women portraying women to locate ourselves in a world where women are still subject to constant judgement: objectified, belittled and frowned upon.
If we speak up we are too much, too loud, too angry. If we don’t, we are too shy, too weak and it’s our own fault that we are put down. When it comes to business we should be ambitious and act like men. All of that effortless and sexy at the same time.
‚More than One Thing‘ aims at looking beyond these preconceptions. We aren’t just nice or pretty or whatever. We are all the things and more. We are curious, we love and we hate, care and create.
We are fucking icons.
Icons are neither strong nor mythical creatures. They are you and me. Authentically themselves. Unapologetically lifting each other up.
